Funny and better than medicine for what ails you.
What a wonderful humorous twist to old bedtime classics!
Bedtime Stories saved my life.

For every child
Wonderful! My son selected this book, and I couldn't be happier. The story is a wonderful updating of the classic tale The Twelve Dancing Princesses, which is both magical and yet very real. The illustrations, by Kadir Nelson, are wonderful, adding some real power and animation to the story. I love this book, and recommend it to you with all my heart.

All sorts of ideas for you!of how to write and design letters and paper. My favourite
chapter is Chapter 1 and 2. Chapter 1 is how to design
words, for example, for hot, use red to write the word hot
and draw fire around it. Chapter 2 teaches you how to write
Top Secret letters. There's codes, hidden messages, and
dots with letters. Other chapters are interesting too. This
book has six chapters in all. Chapter 3 is Paper Capers,
with all sorts of ways to write letters to friends. Chapter
4 is called Writing from the Road. When you are traveling,
this book teaches you interesting ways to write about your
trip to your friend or others. Chapter 5's title is Super
Stationery. You can make pretty paper and interesting
envelopes. The last chapter, Chapter 6, is called Signing
Off with Style. The author show you many ways to sign a
letter. But you'll have to read this book to see everything!
THIS SPICY BOOK

The BIBLE of Meditation Tapes for me!!WHAT A WONDERFUL, UNEXPECTED BLESSING!! I got powerful results right away. After struggling with smoking for 28 years, and trying every method under the sun, I stopped cold turkey after listening to Side B of this tape morning and night, and visualizing after just 3 weeks. That was 5 years ago!!
Shakti's voice is warm and reassuring, and I've used this tape to manifest many other things in my life. I give it to others as a gift all the time, and I highly recommend it if you'd like a strong model on which to pattern your own meditations.
It works!
Great guided meditations and visualizations!

GOOD AT GETTING ANYONE IN THE MOOD TO WRITEWhen I did the exercises I was so surprised by some of the stuff I wrote. The ideas just came in a flash for me. I found myself with so many ideas rushing through me that I had to slow down a little to actually get everything written down. Occasionally, I would read one of the topics and for a second I'd think something like, "Okay, I can't think of anything to write about an insect" and then the next second I found myself just writing for five minutes straight as the story rapidly unfolded in my mind. When the five minutes were up, I'd be left feeling stunned that I actually wrote a pretty decent story on a subject like the one above.
Although, I've always enjoyed writing, before I read this book I was starting to get a little stuck. I had trouble thinking of topics or finishing short stories. This book really made me want to start writing stories again. I haven't completely finished the book yet, but already it has really helped me out a lot. I unquestionably reccomend this book to anyone reading this review.
Great book for any writer
encouraging, helpful, inspirational!I really enjoyed reading the samples of short shorts which she included, both from unpublished and published writers, and I found her appreciation for her students to be very encouraging.
I think she must be a wonderful teacher, and I am actually quite grateful that she has written this book. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys writing, or who thinks they MIGHT enjoy it if given the proper encouragement.

The Life of Allen Iverson-Iverson was not only an outstanding basketball player, but was also a great football player. In high school, he set records, broke records and even broke his own records. My favorite part of the book was when Iverson finally made it to the Georgetown basketball team. He became a Hoya. While he was a Hoya, one of the things he said that was written in the book that showed how hard Iverson led his life was "And growing up the way I had to grow up. That's pressure. That's life."
-The theme of the book is to keep striving for your goals, to never give up. Even though Iverson went to a juvenile detention center, he never quit. He overcame all his obstacles and is now one of the greatest and best-paid basketball players in the NBA. This book taught me to never give up my goals, and to keep pushing until I reach all my goals. I would strongly recommend this book to all the readers who have a dream.
Iverson is tough
Brandon Clay's Review of Allen Iverson: Fear No One

Great Story! I see God's leading in his life.
Excellent Oklahoma family history
An excellent read. I could not put it down.

Good enough to use as a reference.
Great Starter book.
Excellent book to follow the CCNA prep library.
In 350 plus pages you'll begin with a good breakdown of the OSI model followed up with the basics of how to configure the router. The information has screen shots to show you what things should look like.
After that you move in the always challenging world of TCP/IP with routing protocols and access lists. This section has a great deal of information but you may want to check other sources for more detailed information.
You also go into areas like AppleTalk with LAN and WAN configuration, IPX, SAP and basic management of the router including time control. While most of the book is geared towards the beginner all skill levels should be able to find some useful information within the book.
I found that the information seems to be up to date including topics like Network Time Protocol and Simple Network Time Protocol. Overall a very good value for the money.

Don't get discouraged, it gets pretty good! However, if one can get through the rather awkward writing style and the cursory introductions to key characters, "The Dark Frigate" becomes a real page turner when the pirates enter the story and remains one until the last couple of chapters when the author tries to wrap everything up a little too quickly. The chapters dealing with the pirates, though, make for an extremely entertaining and exciting tale. It's those chapters that made me understand why this book won the Newbery.
Although, written for children, "The Dark Frigate" is a rather grown-up book with murders being described in grisly detail, implied torture, hangings, and female characters who aren't exactly chaste maidens. I guess children in the 20's weren't handled with kid gloves when it came to describing the seedier elements of life.
The Dark FrigateIn seventeenth-century England Philip Marshman was suddenly orphaned when his father died at sea. Growing up around ships Philip runs from London and joins the frigate called "The Rose of Devon." In the middle of the voyage to Newfoundland the ship is seized by evil men, from a floating wreck, saved by the Rose of Devon's crew. Now Philip Marshman is a pirate joining these men on there bloody journey. With only his hanging awaiting him in London. Will he survive? Or suffer the same fate as his father.
Can Philip get away from the mutineers?
